Current opportunities for participation: Coming soon!
Directions to the lab: We are located on the Princeton University campus in Peretsman-Scully Hall. You can find our detailed directions and a link to Google Map here!
Do I get paid for participating in your study? Yes. We offer a small amount of money to compensate participants for travel expenses and time. Children who participate in our studies will also get to pick out a small toy or book as a way to show our appreciation.
Do I need to pay for parking? No, we offer free parking. We’ll meet you in the parking lot when you arrive and give you a parking permit.
What does participating in a study look like? Typically, each visit lasts 30 -60 minutes, and the study is designed to be interesting and engaging for children. Before your appointment date, one of the researchers will give you a detailed breakdown of the study procedures so you know exactly what to expect for your visit. When you arrive in the lab, we will go over the consent form with you and answer any questions you have about the study or our research in general.
Where can I learn more about the research in your lab? Please feel free to check out our Publications page for recent and past publications from research projects. If the study you participated in gets published in a scientific journal, we will be happy to send a copy to you!
I have more questions. Who should I contact? If you’d like to get in touch with us, please feel free to call the lab at (609) - 258 7556 or you can reach us via email at velez.colab@gmail.com.
